I have several years of marketing experience.. I work close to NYC currently, but I love New York and am trying very hard to work there. I’ve tried basic job searching, but no luck as of yet… thought I’d give this a shot!

Hi, I am a Latin America lawyer and two weeks ago I had a phone job interview with the HR Director for a position as a legal assistant for the company’s clients in Latin America. We talked about my professional experience, salary, benefits and relocation expectations. Well, my professional experience was praised by the interviewer, my salary expectation was market rate, the benefits were fixed the same for every employer, but because I am at the moment based in South America I was asked about my relocation expectations and I proposed the documentation necessary to take the work permit visa and some help to search an apartment. Next day I sent a thank you email but still had no answer. The position is still avaiable at the company’s site. The question is how should I follow up this job because no deadline was fixed at the interview.

The job is in the sales/marketing field. I want to show my persistence, but I don’t want to annoy. It has been a couple of months since the interview, but they still have not filled the position.

I am going to interview w/Tranformer protection company, parent company is SERGI out of France. Has anyone ever heard of this company or worked for them? Something else it is a position as a Marketing Assistant but it says this:Calling on potential customers, by phone, email and/or in person, within the TPC territory to offer product presentation.
Attend trade shows as an exhibitor for the company
Assist in developing new marketing strategies and implement said strategies.
Answer incoming calls and requests for information from customers.
Coordinate sales presentations and meetings with Sales Department and with TPC sales representatives
Assist Sales Department in their duties including, but not limited to quoting, filling out sales documentation, and general support during the sales process.
Attend other conferences, exhibitions, presentations.Maintaining positive relationships with all customers. Is it a sales position in diguise? would it be commision. What areb2b sales like.
if not commision then what salary should I ask for?
