I have decent credit but I had cancelled all my cards when trying to get out of debt. I am now free of all unsecured debt but I need to have a card so in the future I won’t be hurt by having no credit.

I’m thinking I want a card with no annual fee and a low APR. The card would only be used very occassionally and paid off immediately. I have no desire to repeat previous mistakes.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good card for this purpose?
Okay, as I said, but everyone is skipping, is that I have decent credit. My credit score is 700.

When I got into trouble I went into debt consolidation right away BEFORE my credit got screwed up.

But I do appreciate those of you who are taking the time to answer.

I have some credit, but not a whole lot. My credit score is 628. I also have a delinquncy with Chase, which I am trying to pay off now, but I want to get a different credit card in the mean time to make payments on that to increase my score.

So what are some credit cards that will approve almost instantly with a credit score like that? I just want to get it to improve my credit.

Im currently disputing a lot of derrogatory info on my credit reports from all 3 agencies. I currently have no major credit cards and was informed that if I opened a credit card account and made the payments on time that would up my credit score.

Obviously you pay off a credit card bill with a check or using bill pay through your bank. I have a credit card account through Wells Fargo, and I notice that when I choose to transfer money from my checking account to one of my other Wells Fargo accounts, I can transfer it to my savings as well as my credit card account. What happens when I transfer money to my credit card account? I did not know you can do such a thing. Is that for stashing cash away so I have money come bill paying time?

I want to apply for a credit card that starts out with a minimum credit line of $300. If I get it, it will be my first credit card. If I get the $300 credit, I want to make a purchase for like $200. Is this a good thing or a bad thing to do? Can someone give me some good tips on handling a credit card without getting bad credit?
I will mostly be using this card trying to start an at-home business.
Ya mama b*tch. Eat my p*ssy, h*e!!!
Oh, rudecatt63, you’ve hurt my feelings ever so much, I’m going to cry….NOT. For someone who keeps visiting the GLBT section and has a rainbow in they’re background, you sure do do a lot of *** bashing. Self **** is so stupid. But then again if I were you, I would probably **** myself too.

Let’s say I buy something for $100. I return it and they say I will have that credit back on my credit card. So now my credit card balance is $100? What if I paid for that $100 already and then returned it and got credit back? Can a credit card have a balance and have money withdrawn from it?

I see a great deal at a store to open up a credit card and get a prize or a rebate. If I want the big discount I open the credit card and then get the discount but I don’t want or need the credit card at all.

Is it better to close down this new card or keep it open with a zero balance? How does opening and closing account affect my credit score?

Alright, I have searched the internet and asked people this question. I want to get a credit card to help build my credit. But I am having trouble finding a real credit card. I do not want a debit card. I know they exist, so please help me. Is there a real credit card for people with absolutely no credit?

Credit Card?

Posted In: Credit by admin

I am an 18 year old student looking to establish credit. I know all the responsibilities of having a credit card, im just wondering if it would be acceptable for me to call a credit card company and ask them to give me a credit card.

I can do that, correct?
