I am planning a vacation, and I am giving myself about a year (not set in stone) to save and plan. Do you have any good money saving tips? I want to open a saving account that I don’t have an ATM card too, otherwise I think I would spend it….. So, any tips?

The question of all time, so you have a few hundred dollars (and by a few I mean two – three) just lying around and need & want to use them to try and generate some more, but there is a two – three weeks time frame and low risk is a must. So basically I need to make money with the money I have and I don’t have a lot of time and I can’t lose the money.

Is there a cut off point?

Clearly the police would not open fire on a purse snatcher, but if you grabbed a bag of the back of an armored car and ran, they likely would.

So how much is enough? Would that amount of money where it begins to be ok to shoot people over money amount to the value of a human life?
