from countries like Canada, which is a Socialist leaning country?

If Socialism has “failed” so badly, then why has Canada been running a budget surplus in the billions for 10 straight years? And why do they live longer and are happier and have no enemies? What part of that qualifies as failure?

Not Americans, a non natural born wipe named Obama did. That dipstick has spent more than 3 times than the previous 3 administration COMBINED. AND WE ARE STILL LOSING JOBS.

Please stop using the term “Americans” when you mean the federal government of the US.
“Americans” most of us would probably tell you that we think selling out to china or any other nation is wrong and stupid but our government seems to ignore us for some time now.

Canada isn’t a “socialist leaning” country.

Like the USA, Canada has a free market economy that has some sort of gov’t intervention in its economy (welfare state/taxation) and like the USA, the means of production is in private hands.

But regarding “socialism,” its only okay if the money is coming your way.

Well said - Bush ran to Communists and Islamicists every time he needed cash to pay for another vote-buying tax cut for his rich friends!

‘Americans’ arent borrowing money. I have no unsecured debt. Own my own home. Bought a brand new car at 18 by myself with no help from anyone. And have been working my a** off since I was 15 to get what I want in this life. I don’t **** socialism, I just don’t want my money going to some 3rd gen welfare baby turned useless adult who is perfectly capable of working. Just like I am.

Our government is the one borrowing money, with no input from us. Sadly a lot of the people on the outside don’t realize how many of us here in the country aren’t actually agreeing with the way our government is running things.

Canada doesn’t spend so much of their taxes on their military and debt repayments as the US. This leaves them more to spend on things which benefit their citizens such as univeral healthcare. It’s all a matter of priorities.

Globalization has changed the US in ways that most people over the age of 40 find mind boggling. Concerns for the environment and UN Agenda 21 signed by Bill Clinton leave no room for countries like the US to exist in their prior form. The great experiment is over.

To understand my answer, you need to research UN Agenda 21. It is all based on global warming, ending world wide poverty, cleaning the environment, total interdependence among nations, global governance. I believe it is what Obama means by hope and change, spreading the wealth, and calling himself a citizen of the world. The hope isn’t for the US.

These people are trying to “save the planet”, end poverty globally by equalizing economies, environments, and societies thinking this will insure peace. The US will have to collapse economically before people here will accept the huge changes planned for us. We have nothing to say about it.

Before you call me a loon, think about globalization, World trade organization, World Court, World health organization. The UN is chosing a parliament in August. We did rather well without socialism until our own government decided to destroy our efforts.

Come to my country. Visit Ballymun, Ballyfermot, Ballybough…infact all the places we name ” Bally-” and you’ll see how well socialism works among the perpetually poor single mother classes. Come to our Accident and Emergency departments where all the money in the world isn’t enought to get you seen to within a week as you lay on a trolley beside the type of violent people whose major “illness” is a pint glass that was shoved into their face at 1 pm in their local boozer where they spend their hard earned social welfare while the rest of us idiots work to pay the taxes that fund such lifestyles.

Yes…come to IRELAND. Cead Mile Failte !!!!! ( 100,000 welcomes)
