I’ve never been in a relationship whether by choice or otherwise but I finally want to get out there and on the market, I’m 23 :) I left a waitress my email on the check the other night and I was wondering if it is too indirect, if I’m going about it the right way or how I should approach girls I’d like to meet. what is the best way to start the “dating game?” I am extremely shy when it comes to this kind of thing which is why I prefer indirect methods of communication. But, if you guys out there (or girls) have good ways of getting the opposite sex’s attention I’d like to hear it, and any advice you guys can give me to get out there would really be appreciated.
to warrior_princess 92, I don’t know if she was the one who picked it up or not, I paid via cc and bolted before she could get the check, I think the main thing is my fear of face to face rejection, if I leave my info indirectly then it’s like there’s no real rejection cause it’s not face to face. the waitress was helping me, I didn’t leave my info with a waitress who was helping a different table. anything else please let me know. all responses are greatly appreciated.

left 14 bucks on a 30 dollar tab. I thought she did a great job, in addition to the fact that she was cute, bonus for her. the only thing I’m worried about is going back, lol cause I’m like ok is it all around work now and if I go back…I don’t know, cause I don’t like to look like a fool.
