I have someone who is wanting to write an article on this for them… and I have no idea what an “email exchange” is in relation to affiliate marketing.

He says it is similar to traffic exchanges, but just email…

The emails are in your inbox daily and they come from a website… but how in the world can this be incorporated into an article that relates it to affiliate marketing? I am so confused, please, can someone who is familiar with this type of thing shed some light?

Thanks so much.. I am sooo lost right now.. :(

The email has info about a stock market item, saying to buy now b/c the price will go up. But underneath it has a bunch of unrelated words. Some of which look like words i have seen before while surfing the web…..

I work in finance for some prominent bankers. These people receive questions from journalists all the time, which always get dumped on me. Every time these people are quoted saying something about the markets or economy, it is actually the miserable underling answering their email. How is it possibly valid to conduct interviews by email?
Shouldn’t it be the first thing taught in Journalism 101 that a reporter should actually speak to the person they’re quoting?

I’m just so sick of this practice. Is there some sort of journalists’ association or watchdog that I can appeal to?
